GMH Sports Consultancy is led by Graham Herstell MA, FHEA — 25 years in UK sport and education, working with sports organisations from community clubs through to professional clubs and academies. We help organisations run well, fund themselves sustainably and show the value they bring to their communities.
What we do
Organisational sustainability. Governance, structure and long-term planning that keep an organisation resilient — including environmental and event sustainability, and impact reporting that leaves a measurable legacy.
Funding strategy and support. The funding landscape is crowded and confusing. We help organisations identify the right sources, build a realistic funding plan and put forward strong, evidence-led applications.
Social value and impact. Robust, evidence-based statements of what an organisation is worth to its community — for funders, councils, sponsors and partners.
Data, insight and digital. Turning membership, participation and performance data into decisions, and guiding organisations through digital changes they can actually maintain.
Education, delivery and quality assurance. 25 years designing, delivering and quality-assuring sports education and training — coach education, assessment and QA that stand up to scrutiny, for clubs, academies, professional clubs and training providers.
